ABOUT ME

My name is Hana Green, and I’m an Assistant Professor of Modern European History at Texas A&M University–San Antonio as Assistant Professor of Modern European History.

I’m a historian specializing in Jewish life, the Holocaust, and questions of identity, displacement, and survival. My work explores how individuals and communities respond to crisis, construct identity, and make meaning in the aftermath of violence. Through research, writing, and teaching, I examine how history is experienced, remembered, and narrated.
